Treasury Systems Manager

Role Purpose
To provide day-to-day systems support and assistance to users of TREATS BOS around the Middle East region. To co-ordinate the implementation of other treasury systems such as SUMMIT, GLEAM, GLOBAL CALYPSO, RTGS, etc. and to provide ongoing post-implementation support. To provide business support on BASEL 2 related activities to assist TCL / FCD in regulatory reporting. Take responsibility to coordinate BRP testing of Treasury Control.

Main Responsibilities
• Provide high quality and timely support to TREATS users at UAE and all other regions
• Customers / Stakeholders
• Co-ordinate the implementation of any new Treasury systems, such as Summit/ GMG/ GLEAM/ RTGS/ Other, and provide ongoing support post-implementation
• Assist in UAT (user acceptance tests) for new systems, and in post implementation checks
• Provide business support for BASEL 2 related activities.
• Business Recovery Planning - coordination and testing

Key Challenges
With changing technology, growing sophistication of products, and increasing market volatilities, the risks associated with the Treasury & Capital Markets business are significant. The job holder needs to maintain a sound technical grasp of the systems used in Treasury and to keep himself/herself abreast of system developments within the Group insofar as they affect Treasury business.
Also, the jobholder needs to improve system-solutions for improving operating efficiency and reducing processing costs through higher levels of automation.

Skills

• Through 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or attending suitable Treasury product courses.
• Through 3-5 years experience in implementing TREATS projects and by attending TREATS system training conducted by the Group
• By attending TREATS FOS fundamental training conducted by the Group and/or 1-2 years working experience with TREATS FOS.
• Some experience in analyzing financial information
