Senior Manager HR Support Services
Background:
The role is responsible to support and enable ongoing HR Transformation initiatives within the country and sub regional hubs. Manage and implement change in areas of Service Management, Service Delivery and Solutions deployment, supporting the HR Target Operating Model (HR TOM), and various work streams associated with these initiatives like progressing a region-wide operating model, rationalizing and implementing appropriate regional HR processes and systems and streamlining HR operational support functions. The role also includes elements of business support functions such as HR operational risk and governance, procurement, communications and project coordination to successfully enable change across the country and/or sub regional hub.
Main Responsibilities
•Work with the Regional HR Service Delivery and HR Business Support team to drive HR Transformation (HRT) activities, including a focus on building HR processes, systems and capabilities in readiness for HR TOM implementation and associated initiatives within country and/or sub regional hub.
•Act as an internally facing, objective and independent ‘compliance’ point across all of the HR function. Also help to maintain the independence of HR as a control function of the business.
•Educate the HR function on internal requirements and embed the processes, methodology, skills and knowledge required to underpin these consistent and compliant practices.
•Provide an interface to the other Group functions (e.g. IT) at all levels and ensure that HR remains compliant with Group requirements and standards, whilst retaining the independence of the HR function and a focus on the commercial management of the HR function.
•Help the HR regional team ‘run the function’, facilitate strategy and planning conversations and make key decisions (e.g. investment).
•Initiate, develop and manage regional communications to the HR function and key business stakeholders.
•Track financial spend on HR transformation for respective country and support design / re-engineering of HR processes towards implementation of HR Target Operating Model.
•Implement necessary controls to mitigate all known risks, address audit findings and pro-actively identify existing risks and implement controls across the region for similar risks.
Major Challenges
•Align with and manage both HR Transformation, HR TOM and country HR strategies and outputs. Ensure harmony and resolution in situations where a conflict arises or exists between the two models.
•Ensure timely availability of Management Information, reporting and Metrics towards seamless integration of HR TOM and group platforms towards country HR needs.
•Milestone reviews of progress with regards to HR Transformation, HR TOM implementation, along with track of budget spend and required MI.

•Proven ability to work well with all levels of management, work remotely and as part of virtual teams.
•Proven process designs, re-engineering and or service management / program management disciplines.
•Proven influencing, negotiating and written / verbal communication skills.
•Understanding and knowledge of MS Office packages.
