Senior Manager - Human Resources

Background

The role has HR responsibility for PFS and CMB businesses and proactively brokers HR services to drive business growth within Jordan and implement ‘Best Place to Work’. It is a key role in driving improved HR service to the business country-wide and ensuring the business receives the services it needs whilst implementing the Global and Regional HR Agenda

Main Responsibilities

-Formulate and implement HR strategies in response to business priorities
-Build effective HR, PFS and CMB networks/relationships throughout group and the region.
-Implement the People Agenda through brokering of Specialist Services that; drive growth, enhance the ‘attractive employer’ proposition, meet Best place to work intentions:
-Provide ‘virtual’ leadership to the PFS and CMB HR teams throughout the country.
-Drive continuous improvement in people management
-Talent and Resourcing:
-Performance
-Reward and incentives
-Engagement and diversity
-Learning and Development

Major Challenges

-Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the specialists agenda and initiatives
-Improve customer service delivered by HR to the senior teams in PFS and CMB
-Manage the matrices for group PFS/CMB and group HR with respect to HR priorities, approach to reward & incentives
-Deliver best practice in the context of unprecedented market conditions ensuring the business approach ‘tough decision’ in the context of HSBC values and the ‘best employer agenda’.

-Excellent Command in Arabic & English
-Strong Interpersonal & presentation skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong knowledge of the functional roles of the Bank.
-Proactive in addressing and solving HR problems.
-Excellent management skills
