HSBC's Commitment to Emiratisation
At HSBC Emiratisation is taken very seriously, so seriously that we now have over 1,400 Emiratis in our UAE operations, making up more than 40% of our staff.
And it's not just numbers either. Throughout our operations we have Emiratis occupying key leadership positions. Take our UAE CEO for example, or perhaps our Head of HR, or our Abu Dhabi Deputy Head of Business or the fact that over 85% of our Branch managers are UAE nationals.
Couple these numerous successes with our clear commitment to long term leadership development and its clear that HSBC truly is the world's local bank.
UAE Emiratisation Programmes
In the UAE we have a range of Emiratisation programmes that are tailored to meet specific business needs whilst providing extensive development and career opportunities. Whether you're still studying, have just graduated from university or are an experienced hire we're confident we'll have a career route for you. Here's a snap shot of some of the Emiratisation schemes we run, some open to external candidates, some open to you once you join the bank, take a look and see what you think.
Emirati Graduate Programme - Options
As a recent Graduate you've got plenty of options to choose from at HSBC. Whether you're looking for a career as a fully qualified Accountant or as a Business Advisor to corporate customers, all of our Graduate routes have something in common; we're looking for the best, to train you, push you and develop you to become our future business leaders.
Emirati Graduate Programme - Development
Our HSBC Graduate schemes are all underpinned by the same desire; to maximise your chances of becoming a highly effective leader in a market leading global organisation. To help realise this goal all our schemes provide a range of leadership development that run parallel to the business specific training you'll receive.
Part Time Work
If you are currently studying and are interested in undertaking part-time work, we may be able to offer a position in the bank that will suit the hours you are free. Part time roles can be a great way to gain exposure to the bank and help you understand where you could take your career after graduation.
Internal Emirati Development Programmes
We run a range of high profile internal development programmes that aim to identify our really talented Emiratis who currently work for the bank and through an intensive support structure develop them into a range of key customer and management roles.
