Finance
Our Finance Graduate scheme aims to take raw analytical talent, a keen interest in business and through a mix of hands on Accounting experience and long term professional Finance study develop our future Finance leaders. This 3 year programme provides 6-9 month placements across all of our major Finance functions in the UAE as well as study sponsorship to become a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA).
Commercial Banking and Risk
Our Commercial Banking and Risk Graduate scheme is the perfect springboard to a highly challenging and insightful career working with HSBC corporate customers. Learn the intricacies of the business banking world and how to evaluate risk across highly complex yet customer focused deals. This 3 year scheme provides 6 to 12 month placements across varying roles in the UAE from Trainee Relationship Manager to Assistant Risk Manager. A host of Banking qualifications and training is provided to ensure not only do you have first class hands on experience but also critical classroom based development.
Audit
Our specialised Audit Graduate Development scheme provides the ideal step to gaining a broad understanding of HSBC operations and to develop a long term Audit career. An enquiring mind, first class communication skills and a keen analytical focus are coupled with exposure to Audits across the region; you may find yourself in Dubai one day and Ciaro the next! This 2 to 3 year scheme provides 6 to12 month placements across Audit functions, alongside a 6 to12 month placement in a designated HSBC business area. The scheme also provides sponsorship to become a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA).
Personal Financial Services
Our Personal Financial Services Graduate scheme provides an insight into the world of retail banking across HSBC. Taking a passion for customer service and a keen grasp of numbers this 2 to 3 year scheme provides 6 month role rotations across our UAE credit card, loan and account operations and aims to develop our future Personal Financial Head Office business leaders. A range of specialised and international training aims to give you all the tools needed to learn how best to manage large teams, the intricacies of personal banking processes and of course how best to maximise your future career.
Global Banking & Markets
Our Global Markets Graduate scheme provides an opportunity to develop a leading Analyst career. You'll be offered a 12-month structured programme comprising three rotations across the following disciplines: Sales, Trading, Structuring or Origination. You'll have the opportunity to complete one of these rotations outside of the Middle East, providing fantastic international experience. This challenging programme will provide in-depth exposure to a wide range of products across the asset classes - foreign exchange, credit, rates, equities and structured products as well as the opportunity to be supported by some of the most talented and finest professionals in the banking industry.
As an Analyst in Global Banking you'll be a part of our highly successful Strategic Transactions Group and be presented with world class opportunities to learn the intricacies of managing highly complex corporate and institutional clients. You will work on deals covering mergers and acquisitions, IPO's, rights issues, financial restructurings, recapitalizations, joint ventures, strategic investments and divestitures. You will also be provided with technical training in London (along with colleagues from London, New York and Hong Kong) as well as financial sponsorship to complete the CFA exams.
