To help realise this goal all our schemes provide a range of leadership development that run parallel to the business specific training you'll receive. International Training Options
Wherever possible we'll utilise our global reach and international colleagues to give you insight into different countries, cultures and operations. This may include attendance at courses across the Middle East and the rest of the world.
Mentoring Scheme
After 6 months you'll be assigned a senior mentor within the business. They'll have real insight into how best to manage your career and be available for advice and guidance at the times you need them most.
Communication, Influencing and Business Partnering
Whatever scheme you're on, the ability to work effectively across the organisation will be critical to your future success. A range of tailored programmes will challenge your thinking and really develop your interpersonal style and skills.
Team working
Maximising team performance is a skill we'll be keen to help you develop. Short courses and individual coaching will seek to help you develop your understanding of team dynamics and your impact on others.
Buddy Scheme
From day one you'll be assigned a 'buddy'. They'll guide you through day to day life at HSBC, introduce you to colleagues, help you find the restaurant and be on hand to support you with the smaller but nonetheless important things in life.
Job Swaps
Outside of the 6 to12 month rotations you'll undertake as part of your Graduate scheme, you'll also have the opportunity to experience different areas of the business for up to 2 weeks at a time. 'Swaps' aim to build your HSBC knowledge and really help you maximise your impact.
